Cockpit Country Hike

Every year the Forestry Department puts on a hike to raise funds that will be used to re-afforest its forest reserve areas. That year (2013) the  hike was held in the Cockpit Country, an extensive karst landscape.

Beautiful Georgian style small house complete with fret work, verandah and sash windows. This house was photographed while we stopped to have lunch.
